Find us beneath the Abbey in the beautifully restored row of timber framed buildings.
Take Junction 9 off the M5 and follow the signs to Tewkesbury Abbey.
There are numerous car parks nearby.
When We Are Open
Summer opening (1st April to 31st October): Tuesday to Saturday 10am until 5pm (closed 1pm to 2pm for lunch...even curators get hungry!)
We stay open on Bank Holidays (except Christmas).
What Do We Cost?
Entry to The John Moore
£1.50 (Adult), £1.25 Seniors & Students, £1 Children over 5, £4 for families (2 adults + 2 children)
The Merchant's House costs 75p per person
We welcome school groups at all times of the year, just contact us to arrange a visit
Access
We apologise but due to the nature and age of our buildings we are unsuitable for wheelchair users or visitors with walking difficulties.
We are a small museum and therefore do not have the facilities you may expect. But... there are loos not far away in the Abbey or Gloucester Road car park and we do have a small shop where you can buy John Moore's books and pocket money priced treats.
