Bat Think
The Museum is holding one of its popular live animal days over the Half –Term week. Visit us and think about bats in a whole new way. Bats are very clean animals and spend hours grooming. Bats often choose modern houses to roost in What kind of animals are bats? How many different kinds are there? How big are they? What do they eat? How do they catch their prey in the dark? Where do they live? What happens to them in winter? Renowned Bat expert David Endacott will be at the museum with a selection of live, rescued British Bats to explain to visitors all about these fascinating creatures of the night. This is the perfect opportunity to find out the truth about these much misunderstood animals before Halloween. PLUS Pick up FREE information literature on how you can help bats, and take part in our craft activities – make your own origami bat!
Admission: Adults £2.25, Concessions £2, Children £1.75, Family (2 adults + 2 children) £6.25
