Talks at the John Moore Museum

 

Are you looking for someone to give a talk to your group? The John Moore Museum offers a variety of talks relating to the Museum and its collections. Suggested topics include:

 

John Moore and the work of the John Moore Museum including:

·          The restoration, preservation and conservation of the Museum’s historic buildings and collections

·          The Museum collections including Natural History topics

·          Tasting the Tudors: An insight into the food and drink of the Tudor period

Bookings

 

·          A typical talk lasts approximately an hour to an hour and a half (including a 45 minute talk, questions from the audience and often the opportunity to view and even handle items from our collections)

·          The cost is £30 plus travel expenses (40p per mile)

·          It is often possible to adjust the length, content and depth of the talk to suit your group’s interests and requirements so please do mention any particulars when you contact us
